this is kind of a cool one out of buenos aries (err, maybe a hot one rather...?). in an effort to raise awareness about global warming, the red cross put a melting man out on the streets to hand out pamphlets. hit the jump for another pic and how they pulled it off.
apparently, they built an installation around an existing manhole and had the guy stand in it from the waist up. very clever. reminded me of that melting ice cream truck sculpture by orest keywan from a few years back.
